Ryewood is a sprawling grove of shady trees spread over nearly 12 hectors with terraced lawns & picnic nooks. it is an ideal site for school trips. if you have settled in Lonavala for the season, walk down the Ryewood for a cool refreshing evening.

The grove is under by late Mr. J.H. Talyaekhan, who had been an admirer of Lonavala for years and later and later became Maharashtra’s minister for Tourism.

Serenely settled under the cool shade of the trees is the shrine of Siddheshwar which is under the management of the trust that looks after the famous Siddheshwar Temple Of Solapur. Across the street is the Shivaji park of the Lonavala municipal council with the children’s section.
